About Nicola
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have 25 years' experience as a teacher of adults and young adults 13-18. I have been teaching at University level, and young professionals, with a wide experience of working with 13-18 year olds, adult learners and specialising also in teaching students with learning difficulties.
I am an author and researcher - I have written 2 books about song and am currently writing 2 books on singing and the anatomy of the voice. I coach many languages and specialise in English, French and Spanish Song.

I have held a DBS through various teaching institutions for 20 years. I am currently self-employed.

- Tell me about some of your current students.
A mixture of Oxford college students, young musical theatre candidates, classical singers, adult pupils and mixed genre vocal and performance training. Singers in preparation for professional careers in singing, being trained for stage and performance, auditions and bands, previous students have won many awards, I also love teaching 13-18 year olds who are interested in developing their voice and performance. I welcome students with learning difficulties and have a great deal of experience in helping them acquire skills and cross barriers to learning.

Hello! I'm a top singing/vocal coach. A passionate, committed teacher, I bring out your best! I welcome anyone from beginner to professional, develop confidence, vocal strength, beautiful sound, power and performance.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Classical/ Musical Theatre/ Jazz singing and intense fast-track vocal technique training.
I also offer vocal coaching, vocal rehabilitation and voice care. I can train teachers in singing too, or help you in preparation for music college, drama school, various roles, prizes and exams.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a BA, MA, PGCE, PCE, SRN with specialisms in Anatomy, ENT, Voice Clinic, Core singing, Estill Voicecraft. I trained with Pamela Bowden at LCM, Pam Cook at RNCM, Cantamus, and at University of Oxford.
I have won several awards and scholarships.
- How much do you charge?
£35 per hour
£20 per half hour
- Where do you teach?
I teach in Oxford, Oxfordshire. I teach at own studio and at Pembroke College, Oxford. Also in London, Edgware Road.
- When are you available?
1-7pm most weekdays. Saturday mornings if required.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
13-18 yr olds and adults.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can help with entry to Music College, conservatoire or drama school. I can also train for choral entry and scholarship, performance and diploma.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I am an energetic, exciting and inspirational voice trainer. I trained with the top people, have 25 years' experience. I can sort out any vocal problems you have and take you forward in the fast track to achieve your full potential.
My lessons are fun, full of variety with a focus on technical training and performance. I hold regular student concerts to sing at and regular group training days.
