About Khatera
I am a nursing student in Canada with a medical background from Afghanistan, and over 4 years of teaching experience in different areas such as math, English, science, and computer applications for school-age students and adults. I am very passionate about helping students by conveying my math and science skills with specific study tips to those students who are motivated to learn, improve, and become successful in their chosen study/learning journey.

My teaching methods are using Zoom Application for online classes. I explain the new subject with clear examples using handouts and videos, my own PowerPoint presentation, and an online whiteboard to help students understand the pathways and processes of physiology in the human body. I provide assignments for all new topics, and for the next day, I conduct a small assessment of the previous lesson by asking questions or providing a short quiz. Also, I prepare bigger quizzes/tests after a specific chapter and a final exam at the end of the class. I will send handouts, links, and videos as extra resources to enhance students' knowledge and understanding.
