About Jack
Hi, my name is Jack and I'm a 4th Year Aerospace Engineering Student at the University of Bristol.
Through hard work, consistent practice and structured revision, I achieved 11 Grade 9s at GCSE and 4 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I aim to help my students to build the same confidence and study habits that helped me succeed.
I have continued to improve my knowledge in Maths and Physics at University, and am on track for a high First. Whilst at University, I am incredibly busy, balancing extra-curricular activities and societies with my studies. I understand that many students struggle with time-management, and am happy to help build structured and easy-to-follow revision schedules in order to maximise learning whilst still leaving time for everything else!

I'm offering Maths/Further Maths and Physics tuition to GCSE and A-Level students. Lessons will typically last 1hr, taking place online. I will encourage my students to highlight any tricky topics prior to the lesson. I will take the time to explain things carefully and logically, taking alternative approaches if necessary and working through examples. I will then provide relevant example questions, encouraging my student to attempt them under my supervision until they feel confident in the topic.
I will also dedicate some time each lesson to practising exam technique, establishing good habits and structured plans. I firmly believe that a significant number of marks can be gained by understanding questions that frequently appear in exams.
I have previously tutored two GCSE students in Maths and Physics, both of whom achieved good grades. My lessons are tailored to my student's individual needs, whether they need help understanding difficult topics, improving their problem-solving skills or preparing for exams.
