About Carla

Hello, everyone,
My name is Carla, I’m French, and I’m 26 years old. I recently graduated from McGill University with a degree in environmental health and political science. I’m currently a medical student. I’ve been tutoring for four years now, working with more than fifteen students aged 6 to 27. Feel free to contact me if you need help with your homework or want to learn French.

About the lesson

In addition to French lessons, I offer general academic support for students who need help with their schoolwork. As a tutor for over 4 years, I work with students of all ages and across all subjects.
Whether it’s for homework, exam preparation, improving study habits, organising assignments, or understanding difficult concepts, I’m here to help. I tailor my approach to what they’re learning in class, either by delving deeper into the material or by explaining it through new exercises. I can also help them memorise their lessons using various methods, including surprise quizzes, to reinforce long-term retention.

En complément des cours de français, je propose un accompagnement scolaire général pour les élèves qui ont besoin d'aide dans leur travail scolaire. Tutrice depuis plus de 4 ans, je travaille avec des élèves de tous âges et sur toutes les matières.
Que ce soit pour les devoirs, la préparation aux examens, l'amélioration des méthodes de travail, l'organisation des devoirs, ou la compréhension de notions difficiles, je suis là pour aider. Je m'adapte à ce qu'ils font en classe, en approfondissant ou en expliquant ce qu'ils font à travers de nouveaux exercices. Je peux aussi les aider à mémoriser leurs leçons grâce à différentes méthodes, notamment des interrogations surprises à des moments inattendus, pour renforcer la mémorisation sur le long terme.
