I've heard about Mr Gor from a friend whose children have been Gor's students for the past couple of years. So I reached out to him and he was extremely accommodating, very polite, and explained in details the available packages and classes.
I ended up signing up my twins, son and daughter, for chess classes twice a week. My children look forward to having their classes, and always have large smiles after the class is finished. They also get some light homework games which they enjoy doing. From my friend's experience I know that Mr. Gor recommends competitions when the students are ready for those. We are very new, but once the children are ready and get such recommendations I will for sure encourage my children to go to the competitions. Chess teaches a great deal of analytical thinking, thinking ahead, patience and calculation. And I think Mr. Gor is a great teacher.
