About Erika
Hi there! My name is Erika. I am 24 years old and raised bilingual, so my exposure to the English language has always been constant and I acquired fluency when I was still a child.
From my own experience, I believe that the total immersion method is the most effective way to learn a language!
Since I was little I always wanted to teach, and in high school I realized that dream when the school hired me as a private English tutor for the students. Since then I have been teaching English as a private tutor both in person and online, although with the impact of COVID-19 my classes have been exclusively online.

Forget about books and tests, the best way to learn English is complete immersion in the language! In our classes we will train our Listening and our Speaking skills discussing everyday matters (free topic) or specific content that the student can bring. for example, reading material like news, book, magazine, lyrics, etc, in English and have a discussion about what was read. If the student prefers, the teacher can select material to be read and discussed.
And of course, the entire class will be in English, in order to really introduce the student to an environment of total linguistic immersion, so that in a dynamic and effective way, the student reaches fluency in the language, regardless of the level at which he/she is at the time!
