About Claire
I am a passionate educator who believes in supporting students through positive engagement by giving them the confidence and skills they need to succeed in their studies. I can offer one to one tutoring for Key stage 2-5 in English, drama, history and citizenship. I am a trained actor with a BA (Hons) in theatre studies and a post graduate certificate in museum & heritage education management. I have developed a wide range of experience over the years working as an educator in various educational settings.
I have been teaching for over 7 years in various settings, such as, museums, universities, primary and secondary schools. The students I have taught have achieved high grades and surpassed expections.

Previously I have worked for Brent Council inclusion and alternative education services. Here I taught GCSE English Literature and history of the National Curriculum on a one to one support for students with behavioural and SEND needs. This allowed me to understand the individual needs of each student and to offer a safe, supportive, caring environment that will allow them to gain the grades they need to achieve their career ambitions
