Hello! I am a dedicated mathematics student with an offer to study at the University of Oxford. I achieved an A* in A-level Maths in just one year during Year 12, demonstrating my strong understanding and commitment to the subject. I am enthusiastic about helping others excel in mathematics. I believe everyone can succeed in mathematics with the right guidance and support. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals. Having recently completed my A-levels, I understand the pressures and difficulties students face. Passionate and enthusiastic about the subject, I will deliver exam-driven lessons with a heavy focus on understanding and solving lots of problems. I am an outgoing 18 year old student with an offer to study Maths at the University of Oxford (with an A* A level Maths achieved in year 12 and predicted A*A*A*) eager to help students improve their confidence, mathematical ability and ultimately to succeed in their exams. For Maths, I believe the most important thing is to prioritise understanding over memorisation and to practise your problem solving ability by tackling as many exam questions as possible. I like to teach through problems so that the student is involved and remains active as opposed to a lecture style to ensure you get the most out of our time. A typical lesson will last 1 hour, although adjustments can be made to better fit the student if necessary.
