About Emma

Hi! My name is Emma, and I am a dedicated elementary school teacher with a passion for helping children become confident and successful readers! I have experience teaching both 3rd and 4th grade Reading Language Arts, along with three years of experience working in special education classrooms supporting students with diverse learning needs and abilities.

Through my teaching experience, I have developed a strong understanding of reading instruction, including phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing. I am experienced in using individualized instruction, small-group interventions, and data-driven teaching strategies to help students strengthen their skills and achieve academic growth.

As a classroom teacher, I understand the importance of creating a positive, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence. I believe every child learns differently, and I tailor my lessons to meet each student's individual strengths, challenges, and learning goals.

My goal is to provide families with dependable, high-quality tutoring that not only improves academic performance but also helps children develop confidence and a genuine love for reading!

As a passionate elementary school teacher, I understand that every student learns differently! My goal is to help students become confident, independent readers by providing engaging, personalized lessons that meet their individual needs. I specialize in building reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, phonics, and critical thinking skills.

With experience teaching elementary reading and working with students of different learning abilities, I know how to break down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps. My lessons are interactive, encouraging, and designed to make learning enjoyable while helping students make meaningful progress.

I believe every child is capable of success with the right support, patience, and encouragement. Whether your child needs extra help catching up, strengthening foundational skills, or advancing their reading abilities, I am dedicated to helping them grow and develop a lifelong love for reading!
