About Sierra
I am an Ontario teacher candidate with classroom experience in both Grade 3 and Grade 6 settings through my teaching placements. During these experiences, I have planned and delivered lessons, supported students with varying learning needs, and helped build strong literacy skills in reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension. I believe every student can succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and strategies.
My teaching approach is patient, engaging, and individualized. I take the time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, and learning style to create lessons that are meaningful, effective, and confidence-building. I strive to make learning enjoyable while maintaining high expectations and providing a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and celebrating their progress.
With experience working alongside classroom teachers and supporting diverse learners, I am committed to helping students strengthen their literacy skills, gain confidence in their abilities, and develop a lifelong love of reading and writing.
