About Akshara
Medical student , Clinical Bioscience BSc Hons (1st class) graduate. I look forward to working with my students to help them to tackle some academic challenges. I have 4 years of experience doing online tutoring and coaching. I have lived experience of ADHD, experience as a volunteer play worker for children with special educational needs, peer mentoring certification from St George’s University of London. I have an interest in education and a passion for helping young students reach their full potential. My approach is holistic and student led. Please note I am not offering professional SEN tutoring or support, but look forward to working with you or your child as an academic mentor. I also offer tutoring in GCSE sciences and Biology A level.

I have lived experience of ADHD. Of course every individual ADHD can be different, however the executive functions of planning, organising and continuous focus are recognised challenges for completing School/uni work. I have done personal research to understand how to manage these to optimise my own study and would like to share these with other students. Please bear in mind I do not have any professional SEN qualification.’s
