About Gregory
I have been a teacher for 7 years. I went to school at the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. I received my Masters in Education from the University of Maryland. I love working with kids and want to grow their confidence in their own abilities every day I teach. I love playing and watching sports!

Howard County (HCPSS) in Maryland is one of the most sought after county's to teach in in the United States and I have been teaching in HCPSS for 7+ years.
I know and have access to the Common Core math curriculum for grades 2-5 having taught in all of those grade levels.
I have been tutoring for 3+ years and have seen tremendous growth in my students. My math class test results increase throughout the year.
I am big on quality of work no quantity. This means I do not move on to another math standard until I believe the student has demonstrated they can complete work at an independent level and they have confidence in themselves.
I will model math problems with the students and then have them try problems on their own. They are always able to ask for guidance if need be.
I will constantly go back to previous math standards taught even after we have moved on to ensure retention of all math skills.
I maintain a positive attitude and want to grow each child's confidence!
