About Wasif
My name is Wasif, and I am a passionate Biology teacher with over 35 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in multiple countries, both in-person and online, giving me a broad and adaptable teaching perspective. I’ve worked with various curricula, including the Sindh Education Board, Ontario Education Board, and Cambridge system, and I am also a licensed Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT). Many of my former students have gone on to become successful doctors, researchers, and scientists, a testament to my commitment to their growth. I believe in bringing science to life through real-world examples and interactive demonstrations, making complex biological concepts understandable and engaging. Outside the classroom, I enjoy walking, running, and reading. As an avid reader, I’m always on the lookout for a great novel.

I teach Biology to Grades 11 and 12, and General Science to Grades 9 and 10, with additional experience supporting first year university students in their first and second semester Biology courses. I bring over 35 years of teaching experience across the Sindh Education Board, Ontario Education Board, and Cambridge curriculum. I am also a licensed Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT). My teaching style emphasizes real-world connections of theoretical concepts as well as practical demonstrations. Each lesson includes three core elements: building knowledge, applying concepts, and assessing understanding to ensure students gain confidence and mastery in science.
