About Kamran
Hi! My name's Kamran and I am from Manchester. I have been tutoring since I was at school in a wide range of subjects, from mathematics and physics to English as a foreign language, French and Mandarin Chinese. I myself went through the UK university admissions process, taking the Oxford Thinking Skills Assessment, and have since coached prospective applicants through the process. I graduated this year with a BA Hons (First Class) in Philosophy and Linguistics (PPL) at the University of Oxford and am now staying on to complete a Masters in Linguistics. I consider myself a very friendly and approachable tutor who gives information in a simple and effective way. When it comes to admissions advice, I pride myself on being able to tailor my sessions to the individual needs of the student. The sessions are designed to meet clearly set out goals, whilst allowing students to continually assess their progress and preparation. My hourly rates are very competitive and I have prior experience of Oxbridge admissions coaching. I am fairly flexible with times and locations, but failing this I am more than happy to conduct sessions over skype. Please feel free to contact me if you would like any more information.

Kamran is a very dedicated and encouraging teacher. At the moment, he is going over the entire Maths A-Level spec with me, making sure I understand everything and giving me detailed homework which he goes over the next lesson. He is also willing to go over things with me even when we have gone over them previously and comes up with different ways to explain them.
