About Elizabeth
I graduated from Oxford University with a double first in Classics, and have A* A Levels in History, French and English Literature. I can provide tutoring in these subjects, and also in Classical Civilisations, Latin and Ancient Greek. I have extensive experience tutoring for the 11+, GCSEs, A Levels and Oxbridge entrance exams and interviews. Last year, I helped one GCSE student move from a C to an A grade at Latin between her mocks and the actual exam; and I helped a classics student with their (successful) Oxford application. I am personable and fun tutor and I get excellent results!

My methodology focuses closely on the needs and character of my students - are they a kinaesthetic or a visual learner? How can I adapt my lesson structures and revision techniques to best suit them? In this way, my lesson structure and advice becomes tailored to the precise requirements of each student, and this achieves the best possible results. I am always aware that the needs of the student might change over time, and lesson plans will have to be adapted accordingly. I therefore like to regularly check in with my pupils to ensure that they are happy with my methodology, and I always welcome constructive feedback.
