About Isobel
I'm Isobel and I've just finished year 13 in the UK studying a levels in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I have an offer to study Biochemistry at the University of Oxford in October. At GCSE I achieved 8 9's, 2 8's and a 7. As my options I did sociology, history and business studies. Having recieved tuition with my Oxbridge application myself I know what works best and is useful to know.

Being a high achiever, I know the importance of a good revision plan and knowing exactly how to revise as this underpins the knowledge you need to know to support memorisation and recall when it comes to exams. I can help you find out what works for you when it comes to revision and help to set out a revision timetable.
My lessons will begin with a short discussion on what you are struggling with and delving into the particular aspects on what you're finding difficult. I will then support you with different resources and diagrams to visually demonstrate a concept or idea and then exam style questions for you to practice what you have learnt, well then go through your response, paying particular attention to what is in the mark scheme and what you still may be struggling with.
I also offer a introduction to a level Biology and Chemistry for year 11 students thinking about doing specific a levels to see if you think the subject is for you.
I offer help and advice with STEM and Oxbridge University applications having gone through the process myself.
