About Alex

Hello! My name is Alex, and I’m passionate about helping students succeed in math. I’m currently a freshman at Pitzer College, studying mathematics with a strong foundation in tutoring, as I’ve been helping students excel in math since high school. I also hold a certification in finance, which gives me a well-rounded understanding of numbers and their real-world applications. Beyond academics, I love programming, playing music, and reading—all of which fuel my curiosity and love for learning. I believe that math is not just about numbers but about problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity. My goal is to make math approachable and even enjoyable for my students.
