I'm passionate about physiology and biology; I obtained my PhD at Liverpool in 2004 and have over 15 years teaching experience in life science.

Carolyn taught me degree-level biology over 4 years on an integrated masters programme. Her teaching style was both stimulating and fun, and she manages to engage students in a way that is rare in academia. As someone who struggled with the scientific subjects when starting university, she certainly helped me to progress my learning in this field.
