About Bernadette
I qualified as a teacher in 2005 and taught in secondary schools in the UK until 2015, when I moved to Vietnam. I completed a CELTA in Ho Chi Minh City in 2016 and taught for 4 years in an International School. I have experience teaching History, Business and English Second Language.

My teaching approach is one based on two way comunication. Introducing new language and topics through questioning and discussion to make it relevant to the student increases engagement and encourages participation. Tasks are designed with the students' needs and a clear learning objective, outcome and set of success criteria clearly visible. Students are given may opportunities to give feedback and receive feedback to deepen their understanding of allow them to have ownership of their learning.
