About Rimita

My name is Rimita Singh, and I’m a passionate high school Science and Biology teacher based in Auckland. I’ve been teaching for over 11 years, working with students from diverse backgrounds. I chose teaching because I genuinely believe in the power of education to change lives. Science gives us the tools to understand the world—and I want my students to see themselves as capable, curious, and confident young thinkers.

About the lesson

In my lessons, you won’t just sit and listen—you'll question, explore, experiment, and connect what we learn to real-life stuff that matters to you. From figuring out why energy drinks affect your body to investigating how plants communicate, you’ll learn to think like a scientist and ask smart questions.
