About Ciaran
I've been tutoring French and Spanish at all levels since 2016, and spent my university year abroad teaching English in a collège near Toulouse. I have just started teaching with First Tutors, but I have hundreds of hours of experience at another site with which I recently decided to part ways. Here are some of my reviews from the past:

The first lesson will always be about gauging you or your child's level in the language, and from my approach is always targeted to the weakest points - in my view, there's no point moving onto complicated grammar before we've sorted out the basics. I of course make a plan before each lesson, but keep it loose enough so that we can go on a tangent if I decide another aspect of the language needs more attention. Lessons are always kept friendly and casual, and we're never more than a second away from having a laugh together - you can see from my past reviews that I'm particularly good at engaging even the stubbornest of students!
