About Waad
Hi! I’m Waad, a passionate Biology and Science tutor with a BSc in Medical Biochemistry from the University of Leicester. I love helping students turn complicated Biology topics into something clear, simple, and enjoyable!
Whether you’re struggling with a difficult topic, preparing for an exam, catching up on missed work, or simply want to feel more confident in Biology, I’m here to help. I have experience tutoring Biology and Science and understand that every student learns differently. That’s why I adapt my lessons to your needs, learning style, and goals.
My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and interactive. I encourage you to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn at your own pace—there are no silly questions! I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my Biology lessons to each student's learning style, level, and individual goals. My approach focuses on making complex biological concepts simple, clear, and engaging rather than relying on memorization alone. I use easy-to-understand explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, practice questions, and active discussion to help students develop a strong understanding of the subject.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous topics and an introduction to the learning objectives. I then explain the new concept step-by-step, using visual aids and examples to make it easier to understand. Throughout the lesson, I encourage students to ask questions and participate actively. We finish with practice questions or a short review to check understanding and identify any areas that need further support.
What sets me apart is my academic background in Medical Biochemistry and my experience tutoring Biology and Science. My university studies have given me a strong foundation in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology, Genetics, Physiology, and related areas. I also have experience adapting my explanations to different students and helping them build confidence in subjects they may initially find challenging.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school, high school students, and undergraduate students studying Biology, Biochemistry, or related life science subjects. I am happy to support students with exam preparation, homework, assignments, revision, understanding difficult topics, and building a strong foundation for further study.
