About Gabriela
As a passionate high school tutor, I strive to ignite curiosity and confidence in every student I work with. Specializing in English and basic math, I use direct and Montessori methods to make learning enjoyable and effective. My experience with the Cambridge curriculum, combined with online courses, has given me a deep understanding of the power of education. Growing up with four siblings has taught me the importance of recognizing and adapting to each child's unique learning style, which fuels my commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
I believe every student has the ability to succeed, and my mission is to help them unlock their strengths by building strong foundational skills. I want students to not only understand their subjects but also feel confident and excited about their academic journey. My approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and creating a space where learning feels empowering.
Beyond tutoring, I am passionate about reading, basketball, baking, and drawing. These hobbies have taught me resilience and creativity—values I bring to my teaching, encouraging students to tackle challenges and celebrate progress.
