About Riley

I’m a passionate history enthusiast offering engaging, student-centred tutoring for learners who want to connect with the past in meaningful ways. I bring a strong understanding of how to make history accessible especially for students who find traditional approaches challenging. My sessions are built around storytelling, sensory-rich activities, and creative techniques that help students feel confident and curious. I believe learning should be inclusive and empowering, and I’m especially committed to supporting those with learning differences or who need a more personalised approach. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are suitable for secondary students (KS3, GCSE, A-Level) and adult learners. I’m dedicated, thoughtful, and ready to help you thrive.

About the lesson

As a passionate history educator with personal experience overcoming learning difficulties, I design my tutoring sessions to be inclusive, engaging, and memorable. I teach through storytelling, sensory anchors, and multi-modal activities, bringing the past to life in ways that resonate with all learners. My lessons typically run for one hour and are tailored to each student’s needs, whether they’re preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or simply want to build confidence in understanding historical events. I’ve worked with students of varying abilities and learning styles, and I specialise in helping those who struggle to connect with traditional teaching methods. My goal is to make history not just understandable, but unforgettable.
