My main goal is to make a student empowered in their learning. I will never ask a student to try something individually that I haven’t modeled and we haven’t worked through together.

I approach teaching by meeting the student where they are at. Lessons are comprised of formative check-ins, utilizing an understanding of adolescent brain development to work with the student. Knowledge checks are done through summative work- with an emphasis on project based learning.
