About Bhone
As a passionate medical student, the process of learning, whether academic or not, is something I truly enjoy. I was lucky enough to have good teachers, who didn't just lecture on about a subject; instead, they taught me how to learn. I am happy to say I have experience in doing the same for IGCSE students, where my help led them to achieve their goals. I wish to continue this with any other future students I may have the privilege to teach.

There is no one true method to learn most effectively. Every student has their own journey in academics, my goal is to help guide these students and allow them to find their own path towards their goals. This is what my past experience as a freelance IGCSE Biology and Mathematics tutor has taught me.
I believe a typical lesson should last no longer than 2 hours to avoid exhaustion and give time for information digestion. In my past lessons, I held Zoom meetings where I introduced concepts to students via PowerPoint presentation and digital whiteboard explanations, alongside other various methods. I question their understanding throughout the explanation, to ensure they remain engaged and the concepts remain solid in their minds. Then I try to guide them in applying their newly gained knowledge via tailored practice questions, explaining answers in detail when needed. I try to adapt this rough structure of a lesson to a student's specific need.
I am able to teach GCSE and A level students from ages 14-18 and help grow their enthusiasm for learning.
