About Kayla
I’m a passionate stage and screen actress and acting teacher with experience performing and working behind the scenes on stage productions and indie film sets. I have several years of experience teaching drama to children and teens aged 7–17, helping them develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills. Having just completed my HSC, I am eager to further my experience in both teaching and the performing arts industry. I also bring my love of literature and storytelling into lessons, supporting students to understand their characters, scenes, and the wider context of the story they are performing.

My lessons are interactive, fun, and tailored to each student’s goals and interests. I help students develop acting skills, understand their characters, and explore the story they’re portraying, drawing on my various experience in the industry and teaching. Generally, we work on small scenes from a variety of genres, giving students the opportunity to practice character development, stage presence, and storytelling.
I also bring my passion for film and literature into lessons, helping students understand the importance of the characters and the story they’re performing.
