About Wyatt
I’m a piano teacher with over 14 years of experience teaching students both in-person and online. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, and I’m passionate about helping students become expressive, confident, and well-rounded musicians. My teaching philosophy centers around active participation, musical intent, and building a strong connection between the mind, body, and music. I work with students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced and professional pianists—tailoring each lesson to their unique goals and learning styles. Whether you're learning to play for enjoyment or preparing for performances or exams, I provide structured support and meaningful feedback every step of the way. My lessons blend technical exercises with creativity, musical theory, and historical context to deepen understanding and appreciation. I believe music should be both disciplined and joyful, so I strive to create a space where students feel inspired to explore and grow. For those seeking emotional expression or stress relief, I help them use piano as a calming, creative outlet. If you're into jazz, we explore improvisation, rhythm, and harmony in a way that feels fresh and approachable. I tailor lessons to suit your personality and learning pace, so the experience feels personal and rewarding.
