About Akhila
I’m an undergraduate pharmacy student at Trinity College Dublin with a strong passion for science and helping others learn. I achieved A grades in A‑Level Biology, Chemistry, and Math, along with seven Grade 9s at GCSE. I regularly tutored my younger sister in Math and the Sciences, which taught me how to break complex ideas into smaller, manageable steps and explain them clearly. I enjoy creating a calm, supportive learning environment and I’m motivated to teach because I love seeing students grow in confidence and thrive in concepts that they once found challenging.

As a pharmacy undergraduate at Trinity College Dublin, I want to offer clear and engaging tutoring sessions in A‑Level and GCSE Chemistry, Biology, and Maths. Although I am early in my tutoring journey, I have experience teaching Year 5 pupils in mental maths, which helped me develop a patient and encouraging style. I focus on ensuring students fully understand each topic before moving on, and then use past‑paper practice to help them apply and solidify concepts. Lessons can typically last one hour and I will try to tailor them to each student’s needs. Other than GCSE, and A-levels, I am also open to tutoring younger pupils as well.
