About Flynn
I am a student at UCR and firmly believe in the value of education. I understand how easy it is to be deterred by tricky concepts.
With having a strong academic background, including earning a 5 on AP Calculus AB and succeeding in college Calculus II, I have a solid understanding of both advanced and general math topics, and I take pride in breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps.

My teaching methods focus heavily on step by step problem solving, and becoming familiar with how to solve problems and recognizing what steps you need to take.
A typical lesson plan would consist of reviewing general information about the topic, walking through some problems and the steps that I go through to solve them. Then I will have the student guide me through the steps of a problem, and ultimately have them do the problems for themselves.
I believe that being patient, remaining calm and reassuring students is a great way for them to succeed in any class, especially grades 6-12th.
