About Dani
Hello, and welcome!
I have a Ph.D. in higher education with a concentration in academic writing and reading. I *love* being a writing tutor! I've been lucky to support writers like you for 20 years now, both one-on-one and in the classroom. I'm excited to connect and discuss how I can help you take control and gain confidence in your writing process.

It's a real privilege for me to work one-on-one with students of all kinds...whether you're in college, graduate school, or in the midst of a transition.
While my main tutoring focus is writing, I also offering tutoring in related areas, such as academic reading comprehension, research, and study skills.
I've been a faculty member and academic program leader, too, so I can also offer firsthand insight into the "why?" behind your academic assignments.
One of my specialty areas is helping adult students navigate college expectations, advocate for themselves, and succeed. A lot of the rules and requirements in college are unspoken...even downright invisible. Getting to know and mastering "the system" is a big part of the academic experience. It's especially important when you're integrating school, work, and family, and you have to make every minute count. That's why learner advocacy matters so much to me. I believe in you, and I know how much you have to contribute. Let me know how I can support you in your academic journey!
