About Sarah
I am a musician specializing in percussion. I am studying Music Education at UMass Lowell as a Junior, and a member of the best ensemble in the University. I have experience in marching percussion (in both a front ensemble and drumline), as well as concert percussion (mallet instruments, snare drum, timpani) and drum set. I have taught Winter Percussion ensemble for Billerica High School. I would love to give lessons to those interested in percussion, but can also tutor those who want to learn about music theory, piano et cetera.

My teaching method is solely based on the individual! I will cater to the learning style of each student I work with. I plan to work with students to achieve their own musical goals. I will teach their preferred musical styles, while pushing them to be their best and get out of their comfort zone. I believe that encouraging creativity and expression is the best way for students to learn and explore music, and their own musical styles.
