About Methlinie
Hi, I’m a 2nd year medical student at Imperial College London. I know first-hand how stressful the medical school application process can feel — from sitting the UCAT, to perfecting a personal statement, to handling tough interview questions. My tutoring style is friendly, supportive, and down-to-earth. I don’t just teach techniques — I share the strategies, mindset, and confidence-building tools that helped me through the process. I’ve worked with students who have gone on to secure interviews and offers at top medical schools, and nothing makes me happier than seeing someone believe in themselves and achieve their goals. Outside of tutoring, I’m balancing the busy (and exciting!) life of a medical student. This means I understand the pressure you’re under, but I also know how to break things down in a way that feels manageable and motivating.

I offer personalised, supportive lessons tailored to each student’s needs. For UCAT, I focus on strategies, timing, and practice. For personal statements, I help students write clear, impactful applications. For interviews, I provide realistic practice with detailed feedback. Students I have supported have gone on to secure interviews and offers at top UK medical schools. Lessons usually last 60–90 minutes and are structured but flexible. As a 2nd year Imperial medical student with 4/4 offers, I bring recent, first-hand experience of the process. My sessions are best suited for Year 11–13 and gap year students applying to UK medical schools.
