About Lynetta

I am a certified educator with a master's degree, more than 15 years of teaching experience, and a current Learning Without Tears Certified Handwriting Specialist credential.

My professional background includes special education, individualized instruction, and working with students who have a wide range of learning abilities, developmental needs, and educational challenges.

As a Certified Handwriting Specialist, I understand that successful handwriting instruction involves much more than simply practicing letters. It requires a thoughtful approach to letter formation, motor development, visual awareness, consistency, and building confidence through meaningful practice.

I am passionate about helping students overcome handwriting difficulties without frustration or discouragement. My teaching style is patient, positive, structured, and engaging, with lessons tailored to each student's individual strengths and needs.

I also value continued professional development and look forward to incorporating the newest Learning Without Tears tools and instructional strategies into my teaching.

My goal is to help every student experience progress, develop independence, and feel proud of their accomplishments.

My handwriting lessons are designed to help students develop clear, legible, and confident writing through structured, engaging, and individualized instruction.

I work with students who are beginning to learn handwriting, struggling with letter formation, spacing, sizing, pencil control, or writing fluency, as well as students who need additional support developing foundational fine motor and handwriting skills.

Lessons incorporate multisensory learning techniques, guided practice, visual demonstrations, and hands-on activities inspired by the Learning Without Tears approach. Instruction may focus on manuscript printing, cursive writing, or strengthening foundational skills, depending on each student's needs.

I understand that handwriting challenges can be frustrating, particularly for students with diverse learning needs. My approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, positive reinforcement, and achievable progress.

Each lesson is adapted to the student's developmental level, abilities, and individual goals, helping make handwriting a more comfortable, successful, and enjoyable experience.
