About Lee-Ann
I have always had a passion for helping people, even as a child. I began my career as a teacher. Imparting knowledge is something I have enjoyed and was good at right from a young age. Apparently I'm bossy maybe that's why (HA, laughing at my own jokes). I then went to university to become a pharmacist, and although my method of helping people had changed, I continued to impart knowledge to interns and students. My patients also benefitted from my need to empower people, as I always ensured that they knew about their medication, conditions & treatments (If a patient knows what they are taking and why, they will follow their regime properly). Knowledge is power!
I worked mostly in retail, but have also worked in hospitals (doing an antibiotic stewardship & infection control). I recently branched into Warehousing (veterinary). This was a big learning curve for me and added a branch to my knowledge I never expected - Good Warehousing Practice, SOP's, QC and many others. I have done many courses, to add to my knowledge and help my patients & colleagues. Some courses that I have done: Herbal medicine (University), Aromatherapy, Nutrition, Vitamins & Supplementation. I am currently doing courses in sports nutrition and ASL.

Knowledge is power, which will stand you in good stead for the rest of your life. I believe lessons should be very interactive, spontaneity often leads to greater understanding. Ridged structure leads to boredom, which leads to stagnation and loss of interest in a subject. I will always encourage free thinking and always look at different angles to achieve a goal. I'm offering help for pharmacy students, interns and pharmacy assistant students. Covering Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacotherapy, South African Pharmacy Law, Good Warehousing Practice.
