About Navya
I am a PhD student in applied chemistry with six years of teaching experience. My classroom teaching journey began with undergraduate students in Biotechnology and chemical engineering, where I independently handled lecture sessions and academic responsibilities. My role involved delivering structured 60-minute lectures, developing assignments on a regular basis, and evaluating student performance through coursework, midterms, and final examinations. I enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts by breaking them down clearly and patiently. My approach is tailored to each student’s learning style, focusing on building confidence, understanding, and effective study habits.

I design lessons that are both organised and adaptable, depending on each student’s level, pace, and confidence. My focus is on helping students truly understand concepts and gradually become independent learners.
Each session is thoughtfully planned based on what the student needs. Teach new topics with guided explanation and practice, and finish with focused exercises to reinforce learning. I maintain a supportive and relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engage actively. My aim is to build confidence, improve understanding, and help students make consistent progress over time. Lessons are suitable for primary and secondary students (Prep to Year 11).
