About Sheena
I am a PhD candidate in English and Philosophy at McMaster University. I have taught English and French grammar, writing mechanics, and oral expression to students of all levels for six years in both casual and formal environments. I have also taught ESL and have experience working in intercultural communications. I enjoy teaching and learning languages, and have conducted research in French and Italian, as well. I am pleased to work with students of all education levels and backgrounds, from basic grammar to advanced technical writing, as well as oral presentations and university writing.

I adapt my teaching method to suit the needs of each student, so my preference is to meet with the student to determine their needs, at which point I will begin a lesson planning based on the goals of the student and the amount of training required to achieve their goals. I am always happy to offer additional materials beyond what I provide during lessons.
