About Stefano
I was born and raised in Italy, but moved to Scotland in 2017. At present, I am a PhD candidate in Archaeology at The University of Edinburgh, awaiting my graduation.
CAD drawing has always been a crucial part of my academic and work career: documenting finds, structures and sites and exploring the visual and analytical potential of vector documentations. Since 2021, I have led workshops on the use of AutoCAD for students and staff members of the University of Bologna and Edinburgh.

I have been using AutoCAD in my working life since 2008. Vector drawing has represented a crucial tool for my career development as a researcher in Archaeology.
I provide 1 or 2 hour lessons, mostly based on practical exercises. Topics range from basic 2D drawing for beginners to the integration between AutoCAD and QGIS and 3D modelling.
I particularly focus on possible pitfalls and shortcuts, helpful to avoid frustrating issues.
