I have over ten years experience in classrooms at all levels, both as an in demand substitute teacher and a college professor. I have taught the Early College Program for Irvine Valley College, as CSU -San Marcos and UCI. My specialties are European, East Asian, world and American history.

I like to tell stories and then present contemporary evidence like texts, images, material culture, music and art for students to discuss and apply their historical knowledge to explore historical interpretations. I try to assign mostly short writings so I can also help the students learn to write, which is something with which I struggled.
