About Rakesh
I am a PhD researcher and an engineering professional with a strong passion for learning, research, and teaching. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a deep understanding of engineering and materials science, while also learning that knowledge becomes truly valuable when it is shared with others.
My own experience as a student and researcher has taught me that every learner has a different way of understanding a subject. Sometimes a difficult topic becomes simple when it is explained from a different perspective, with the right example and at the right pace. This is the kind of teacher I want to be.
I want to share my knowledge because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand concepts that initially seem difficult. I believe teaching is not simply about delivering information—it is about building curiosity, confidence, and the ability to think independently.
Whether a student is struggling with the basics, preparing for an examination, or simply curious to learn more, I want to create a comfortable environment where they can ask questions without hesitation and learn without fear of making mistakes.
For me, the greatest satisfaction in teaching is seeing the moment when a student says, “Now I understand!” That is the reason I want to share what I have learned and help others progress in their academic journey.

I believe that effective learning is not about memorizing formulas or answers—it is about understanding why and how things work.
My teaching approach is concept-oriented, practical, and personalized. I first understand the student's current level, learning difficulties, and goals, and then structure the lessons accordingly. Instead of simply following a textbook, I connect theoretical concepts with real-world engineering applications, practical examples, problem-solving, and visual explanations.
As a PhD researcher, I bring a research-based mindset to teaching. I encourage students to ask questions, develop logical thinking, and understand the fundamentals rather than depend on memorization. For difficult topics, I break complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and gradually build the student's confidence.
My lessons typically focus on:
Building strong fundamentals
Understanding concepts through practical examples
Step-by-step problem solving
Identifying and correcting individual learning gaps
Developing analytical and critical-thinking skills
Exam-oriented practice when required
Connecting classroom knowledge with real engineering applications
My goal is not just to help students get better marks, but to make them independent learners who can understand, apply, and explain what they have learned.
