About Amber
I am a trans woman completing a PhD in quantum computation and nanofabrication. I have a master's degree in physics with a specialisation in maths, quantum physics and condensed matter physics. I have two years of experience professionally coding. Outside of my work I am currently the president of the photography society and part of an a cappella choir, I go climbing regularly, and attend a pub quiz weekly.

My teaching style is led by you, and customised to you. However, I have always found that teaching someone else what you know is the best way to not only learn gaps in your knowledge but retain information. With my current position I have an understanding of the subject I can tutor where I can understand the fundamental gaps in knowledge as to not only lead to better retention but deeper understanding. It's my belief that good teachers can inspire us in our subjects and I endeavour to be that inspiration
