About Franner
I have been teaching for 25 years, from primary to foundation degree level. I have been a head of department at secondary schools as well as an FE college in the UK. I am a qualified TEFL teacher. I also have a BA(Hons) degree, a PGCE in secondary school teaching, an MA(Ed) Masters in Education and a PhD in Music. I am also an experienced examiner.

My teaching method is student-centric, allowing students to discover and learn while gaining confidence through guided support rather than didactic presentation. Lesson structures are flexible, depending on the student's own requirements and aims. I can cover specific elements of English such as pronunciation, speaking, listening and understanding, writing or grammar or can offer a well-rounded approach to learning English as a foreign language. I am happy to support students in conversational English, English for studying, business English or to pass examinations.
