About Ana C
I am a Geographer and an Art Curator. I graduated and got a teaching license in Geography from the São Paulo University (São Paulo - Brazil). My master, concluded in 2017, explored argumentative comprehension as a fundamental linguistic capacity in Geography teaching and learning. I also worked as a teacher in the state of São Paulo’s high school education. Parallel to those research activities, I dedicated myself to curatorial activities and research in contemporary art. For me, art has always been in dialogue with Geography and, moreover, was always an object of studies and reflection. In that way, I am currently doing my PhD in Art History at the University of Essex.
