About Nia
I'm a PhD student and an experienced Welsh Tutor. I have a First Class degree in Welsh and a Distinction in MA Welsh and Celtic Studies. I also have an A* in Welsh language and literature GCSE and a grade A at A-level. I also work as a Welsh language tutor for adults.

In my lessons, there is a clear focus on acquiring spoken Welsh, and on feeling encouraged to be a confident Welsh speaker. I introduce patterns, give plenty opportunity to practise and a focus on refining your grammar. Depending on your needs, I can focus on pronunciation, improving your grammar, writing skills and a focus on literature if you wish. I can offer structured lessons, or a student-led lesson (between 1-2 hours). If you wish to practise your spoken Welsh, I can offer a short 30 minute lesson. I can offer lessons to students of any age, from primary to more mature adults.
