About EUGENIA
I am a second-year Italian PhD student currently in St Andrews (before in Edinburgh). I have studied humanities (Latin, Greek and Italian) since I was a child and have a very solid knowledge and competence in spoken, written and literary Italian. I have studied Italian language and literature since elementary school and have taken many university exams. I can offer lessons in grammar, speaking, literature, making written papers and understanding texts.

I have a great deal of teaching experience as I taught Latin and Italian language and literature for a year in a high school and give many private tutorials in Latin and ancient Greek. I am very familiar with classical languages; in fact, my PhD is on ancient Greek. The lesson is very interactive and I believe that a solid knowledge of Italian grammar is necessary as a basis. I would definitely organise my lessons starting with grammar and then continuing with speaking to solidify one's confidence during the language interaction. Being a native Italian speaker, I can correct accents and errors without any problem.
