About Elia

I studied Economics and Commerce at the University of Florence. I graduated in advance with honors, with a thesis in Mathematics for Economics on discrete dynamical systems. During the three-year course, in addition to developing excellent knowledge of basic topics in economics, business and law, I focused on quantitative subjects (mathematics, statistics and econometrics, microeconomic theory). Later, thanks to a scholarship for merit, I moved to Rome where I continued my studies with an international élite course, the RoME Master in Economics offered by LUISS and EIEF ((concealed information) , strongly focused on quantitative subjects and aimed at preparing for academic research in the economic field. I graduated with honors in July 2019 with a thesis in Monetary Economics, and later I won a scholarship offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to continue my studies with a PhD in Economics at the European University Institute of Florence, one of the best doctoral programs in economics in Europe.

About the lesson

- Teaching aimed at understanding the material, not memorization.
- Determination of teaching methods based on objective:
- If the objective is to pass the exam, rapid skimming of the material and guided performance of targeted exercises based on old exams.
- If the goal is to obtain an excellent result, guided and in-depth study of the theory accompanied by constant exercise.
- Possibility of personalized plans according to the time available before the exam.
- No problem if the exam is in English; I have been studying in English for years.
- I am patient, available to help and I like to offer curious examples related to the real world to make others passionate about the subject I explain.
- I prepare each lesson thoroughly before meeting a student.

Bravissimo a spiegare, paziente e affidabile.
