About Jenny
I am a doctoral student with two year's experience teaching history in group workshops, for groups from primary to A Level. I currently teach an undergraduate module in my department, and am happy to offer extra support to History undergraduates. I gained A*AAA in my A Levels (History, Music, French, EPQ), with an A grade in AS Drama. I would love to share my knowledge and passion with other students, and firmly believe in providing fair tutoring for students in less privileged circumstances.
I am friendly and approachable and will tailor my sessions to my student's exact needs, encouraging them to ask questions and develop their ideas and arguments. I am happy to focus on skills for tests/exams, but I believe that broadening our academic understanding is just as important, so will focus on both.
