About Nav
I am a PhD student at the University of Toronto. My area of study is medical anthropology with a background in life sciences. I have 10 years of tutoring experience, ranging from the elementary to university/college level. I have experiences working with students from all walks of life, as well as students who have various learning disabilities such as autism, auditory processing disorder, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

Teaching, in my opinion, is about mentorship. It involves listening, questioning, and a continuous re-assessment of its methods. I encourage my students to ask questions about the content as well as the objective of the lessons. I develop unique methods based on the student's needs, as there is not a "one size fits all" approach to teaching.
