About Priyankar
I am a PhD student of Computing and Information Systems at University of Melbourne. I study elderly people and try to find technology based ways to help them through my research. I have a background in Software Engineering and Telecommunications, having served the industry for a good 6 years, my last stint being with Comcast a US cable & internet company.

I like to be interactive while teaching and believe the student learns more by doing things related to the topic than just learning theory behind it, the former also helping him/her remember longer. Occasionally i like to bring the fun element in & engage students in interesting conversations to make sure study doesn't become a boring experience & also to keep the students' creative juices flowing.
