My preferred philosophical approach is analytic. I typically organize my lessons thematically, by question/s - e.g. Does science 'debunk' religion? Can we know the external world? Is psychology a science? I will, however, adjust to the needs of each student/group of students. I encourage interactive learning where appropriate, i.e. 'Socratic' learning through questioning and active participation in discussion on behalf of students.

Perfect! I have been studying with Paolo on a weekly basis for nearly six months and every week has been highly rewarding. We are currently studying the History of Western Philosophy and Philosophy of Religion, which are fascinating subjects. I couldn't be more grateful that I have a teacher who is passionate about this subject and doesn't over charge for their expertise. I didn't have any previous experience in studying philosophy and I now feel comfortable with both reading and writing philosophy texts. I would highly recommend Paolo to anyone who is interested in learning more about this wonderful subject.
